This Privacy Policy explains how PreggyCheck (“PreggyCheck”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), a service operated by a UAE-registered company founded by Dr. Qinisile Cele, collects, uses, shares and protects your information when you use the PreggyCheck mobile application and related services (the “App”).
The App is intended only for users who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
We collect the following categories of data, which you provide or generate while using the App:

We do not use your health data for advertising, and we do not sell your personal data.
Where the GDPR, UAE PDPL or POPIA applies, we process your data on the basis of your consent (which you may withdraw at any time), the performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and improving the App, and compliance with legal obligations. Health data is processed only with your explicit consent.
We share data only with the service providers needed to run the App, and only as described below:

We may also disclose data where required by law, or to protect the rights, safety and security of our users and our service.
Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. Where we transfer data internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards consistent with applicable data protection laws.
We retain your personal and health data for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the App. When you delete your account, your associated data is permanently deleted from our active systems; residual copies in encrypted backups are purged within 90 days. We may retain limited records where required by law (for example, billing records) and only for as long as legally required.
All data transmitted between the App and our servers is encrypted in transit using TLS/HTTPS. We apply access controls and other technical and organizational measures to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information using industry-standard practices.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, export, restrict or object to the processing of your data, to withdraw consent, and to request deletion. To exercise these rights, use the in-app controls or email us.
You can delete individual records, or your entire account and all associated data, at any time from within the App (Profile → My Profile → Delete Account), or by emailing us. Full instructions are on our Account & Data Deletion page.
The App is not directed to children and is intended only for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the App.
